Another week of Traffic Exchange results
OK – I’ve just collated the results of my Traffic Exchange surfing for the past week and after upgrading in a couple of Traffic Exchanges the results have taken on a whole new look.
When choosing to upgrade I looked for several key factors. They were proven performance and Value for money.
In my last post, I mentioned how good the Hit2Hit package looked and I have to say that it’s not just good – it’s possibly the best value advertising package on the net in any shape or form.
Hit 2 Hit was performing solidly as a free to surf exchange, but when I took the Coral Rose option, my hits exploded – and my response rate increased. I’m not sure why, but the effects have been spectacular. Hit 2 Hit outperformed all Traffic Exchanges for the week by a ratio of almost 2 to 1
It’s one week performance was not enough to give it Top Ranking, but it’s only a matter of time at that rate.
Here are the cumulative rankings for the past three weeks

I find this sort of analysis very handy. I know that these Traffic Exchanges work for my campaigns -these are the ones that I’ll be buying credits from as time goes on – especially those scoring consistently above 300

Hit2Hit has that rotator for upgraded members, so it’s likely that’s why your hits and results exploded
So how are the scores made? Random numbers or do the numbers mean something? =P
Hi Tim sorry I missed your comment – I was away on holidays.
TE’s are basically given a score of 200 to start with and are then ranked upon actions/sales per 100 page views and hits earned per 60 minutes – if for example StartXchange earned me 1 hit per minute it would maintain a rating of 100 for deliver ability if it returned me one measured action or sale per 100 page views, it would score 100 for responsiveness and maintain its score of 200. Obviously, if its performing at above that level, then it scores higher. Its muddied a little because some Exchanges represent virgin territory for me and I find that they are generally more responsive, whereas my favorite exchanges require a little retooling as far as my advertising is concerned
