Traffic Exchange Secrets Revealed

Traffic Exchange Tracking

Traffic Exchange tracking results

Traffic Exchanges need to be tracked

I’ve embarked on a fairly ambitious and comprehsive tracking campaign measuring the effectiveness of a number of Traffic Exchanges.

The first week’s results have been calculated and I have to say that I’m fairly surprised by some of the results.

Using Pro Tracker Plus, I was able to track hits delivered, responses to hits and sales .

I allocated each traffic exchange a starting score of 100 and figured that if the Traffic Exchange could deliver me one hit per minute of time taken surfing (remembering  that I multi tab surf , so each exchange is actually costing me between 10 and 20 seconds of my time) and deliver me an action for every 100 pages surfed that that would count as  retaining a score of 100.

I also added bonus point for any commissions that I receive from any traffic exchanges.

Based upon my experience with previous tracking, I expected that on average the Traffic Exchange "score" would increase to 200.  The first surprise was that the average result far exceeded my expectations – it was 277.

Now, what surprised me further that one particular exchange returned a score of 930.  This is a good Traffic Exchange that has been around for a while but isn’t ranked highly by the "authority" on Traffic Exchange rankings Traffic Hoopla.  What was even more surprising was that one Trafic Exchange consistently and regularly ranked in the Top 25 by Traffic Hoopla only returned a score of 8 – in other words according to my tracking it was a complete waste of time.

Why aren’t I listing them at this stage?

Well, I need to make sure that my results are accurate and will continue to test for several weeks before naming the best of the best and the  lowest of the low.

I can say though, that some of my favourites like Startxchange, Webbizisider and TS25 performed exactly as I expected that they would – very strongly and I can recommend their services with confidence.

As for some of the others, I need to test test test.

Just to be sure.

One things for sure – not all Traffic Exchanges are created equal.
